What will be needed for classes/lessons?

Students may require certain shoes for each style of dance that they are enrolled in. Please check the tab "Styles of Dance/What We Offer" that is located under "What We Offer."  There you will not only find a description of each dance style and what age groups we typically teach each style for, you will also find what shoes that the student will need for that style of dance.

We recommend that all students bring plenty of water, however we also have a water fountain and disposable plastic cups that are free of use for EVERYONE, especially those who forget to bring water to drink during class or did not bring enough water with them!

How should the student's hair be worn for classes/lessons?

All students should have their hair pulled back and away from their face (For Examples: Long hair should be pulled back into a ponytail.  Bangs should be pulled away and kept out of face by pinning it tightly to hair, or by putting a strong among of hair gel/spray that will keep the bangs in place and out of face).  We do no require our students to have to have their hair in a bun for every class, unless they choose to!

We have extra hair ties that are free to use and keep available especially for all students that forgets to bring a hair tie and comes without having their hair pulled back and out of their face.

What is the proper clothing attire for classes/lessons?

All students should wear clothing that is neither too baggy (to prevent any preventable falls/injuries that may happen while wearing clothes that are too baggy to perform physical activities in) nor that are too tight (so that the student is limited to only performing certain physical activities due to discomfort or that the clothing is at risk of tearing while performing physical activity).  NO JEANS ARE ALLOWED due to stiffness, prevention in participating in certain parts of physical activity, and being at risk for tearing while participating in physical activity.  We do not require our students to wear leotards and tights to every class unless they choose to.  All personal private bathing suit parts must be covered at all times; This is non-negotiable!

It is okay to send your student in old dance costumes; In fact, WE LOVE to see our dancers in old dance costumes no matter where the costume came from.
