What is Dance To Inspire Dance Studio?
Dance To Inspire Dance Studio is a recreational dance studio that is located in Fair Haven, Vermont. As a local business in Fair Haven, Vermont, we pride ourselves on personal attention and dedication to every student, as well as providing each individual a safe environment that feels like home that they are always excited to go to and be at. Our approach is rooted in quality instruction and a supportive environment, ensuring that everything we do reflects our commitment to excellence.
Dance To Inspire Dance Studio was established by Miss Heather Donovan in July of 2025 in a quest to change dance's/acrobat's negative name/image to a much more positive one. As many may know, dance/acrobatics has negative images for many reasons; Such as negative environments that are produced by the director(s)/employees of their studio, pushing negative ideals, practicing bad sportsmanship, and the list goes on and on. Miss Heather has dealt with multiple different forms of this situation during multiple different points of her dance career, and can both understand and sympathize with others that may have gone through similar situations. To give dance/acrobatics its name and positive image back, Miss Heather created/established Dance To Inspire Dance Studio and to help inspire everyone that their can be a love and passion for dance/acrobatics for everyone, regardless of their age, background/education of dance/acrobatics, race, sex, disability, how they may identify, or because of any other reason that may hold someone back from even trying the art of dance/acrobatics for themselves.
Here at Dance To Inspire Dance Studio, we highly encourage everyone to do their very best at every class/lesson while being their very best true and authentic selves and to have fun doing it while learning the proper technique behind each step and sequence. We are very hands-on with each student as we believe that it is one of the helpful ways to educate our students. We may also use some teaching tools that are not normally seen or used in a studio such as pool noodles and beach balls. Dance To Inspire Dance Studio strives to make its environment safe for everyone, and a very warm and welcoming environment at all times. We try to accommodate every student with all of their needs to the very best of our availability. One way that we accomplish this is by providing hair ties, unlimited clean drinking water with cups, and female products for anyone who may need them ALL FREE OF COST!
Dance To Inspire Dance Studio is very proud to say that the studio tries its very hardest to be flexible with everyone's schedules as we understand that life may be very chaotic and doesn't always agree with what we may have already previously scheduled in our lives. With that being said, we work hard to work with each student and their family's schedule every step of the way that we can.
Some of Our Policies that Makes Us Unique
Drop in Classes/Lessons
We have drop in classes/lessons option to help provide flexibility especially when life decides to become very chaotic. Drop in classes/lessons are when you or your student would like to try a class/lesson or two to see if they like dance/acrobatics without any commitment necessary. This prevents having a student or their family pay for a full month of tuition and then the student does not end up coming back again for whatever the reason may be. Drop in classes/lessons are also an option for those whose student and/or their family cannot make every class/lesson of every month of the season, and/or if your student and/or your family cannot or are not ready or cannot make the commitment of dancing for the full season.
Make-Up Classes/Lessons
Dance To Inspire Dance Studio has a make-up class/lesson policy in place. Make-up classes/lessons are if any unfortunate event(s) such as terrible weather occurring the day of schedules classes/lessons, a main water break, the studio’s bathroom is not working on the day of scheduled classes/lessons, if Miss Heather cannot open the studio or instruct due to coming due with an illness or an emergent event were to occur such as a death in Miss Heather’s personal family, and other reasons that may correspond with the reasons that have been given causes a scheduled class/lesson to cancel. In the event of make-up classes/lessons are owed, we will try to work will all families of the students in the class to find the best time to hold makeup classes/ lessons, or if Miss Heather cannot find time at any point of the dance season to make up any classes/lessons, then a partial refund will be refunded back to you with a written receipt.
"Nobody Performs Alone" Policy
We are also very proud to have our "Nobody Performs Alone" Policy. This policy is put in place so that nobody has to ever worry about performing by themselves, especially if they are uncomfortable performing alone; In this case, Miss Heather will find other students within the studio to perform with the individual, if we are unable to find anyone for any reason, then Miss Heather will perform and be on stage with the individual.
Our Studio Handbook
We are currently in the works of making and providing a studio handbook for the studio for the public view/knowledge.
